ABOUT US

Blackpool Tiggers first started in 2004 and is now a parent - led charity providing trampolining sessions and lessons for children and young adults on the autistic spectrum. All lessons and sessions are run by a Level 2 or above British Gymnastics qualified coach with a wealth of experience in trampolining for people with autism and other conditions. Each lesson is taught one to one and is specifically tailored to the needs of the individual whatever their ability or needs.

The Charity is managed by a parent led committee and run wholly by volunteers. This includes our trampolining coaches who are all British Gymnastics qualified and we provide full training for volunteers who wish to achieve these qualifications.

We also provide a school holiday programme of social events for our members, so families can enjoy activities together and receive help and support in social situations. We are extremely grateful to the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trust for awarding Blackpool Tiggers with a grant from the Three Guineas Trust to help with the costs of this scheme.
