One of our regular commercial donors, Beaverbrooks the jewellers, donated a number of times this year. We are extremely grateful to the company, staff and customers for their continuing support.

Our retail partners have some great customers who have donated into our collecting boxes. Thanks to Blackpool Paint Company, Ansdell Plumbing, Kenneth Wright Opticians (Stoke), and all collection box holders and their customers.

2020

Covid 19 has hit all fundraising hard this year, and we are especially grateful for all the donations we receive. We have received donations from local companies including Glasdon and Beaverbrooks who support Tiggers regularly. Our members and their families have also been especially generous during 2020 when we have struggled to provide our services due to the Covid 19 safety restrictions.

Blackpool Accommodation (A Home from Holmes) very kindly held a raffle on their Facebook page which raised £450 for Blackpool Tiggers. Thanks to everyone who donated a prize or bought a ticket!

Grants were also awarded from Sport England and from Kentown Wizard, specifically to help Tiggers during the lockdowns and throughout the Covid 19 restrictions period. Without these grants Blackpool Tiggers would have been struggling to survive to the end of the year, and we are extremely grateful for their help.

Another regular local supporting company, Glasdon kindly donated £200 to Tiggers in December. Merry Christmas!

JPC Decor made a very generous donation of £550 towards the cost of upgrading the heating system in the trampoline centre. A warm environment is very important for our families and it has made our sessions a lot more comfortable in the cold weather!

Tiggers has been awarded a substantial grant by the Three Guineas Trust towards our summer holiday programme of events. We are immensely grateful to the trustees for this funding which will enables our families to participate in specifically tailored social events and days out, geared to the needs of our members, which we would struggle to achieve otherwise.
